Seven emulation outputs, a rebuilt macro recorder, and a wave of UI work
Every emulation backend is now real - two virtual pads, keyboard, keyboard and mouse, and three Dolphin targets - alongside a macro recorder that captures sticks, triggers, and mouse, and a broad interface pass.
Highlights
- All seven emulation outputs are live: virtual Xbox 360 and DualShock 4, keyboard, keyboard + mouse, and three Dolphin targets.
- The macro recorder now captures sticks, triggers, and mouse movement with per-tick timing, and turns emulation on automatically for playback.
- A Controllers status hub, stick-curve presets, and a live trigger histogram.
- Adaptive-trigger rework in Haptics and a merged Lightbar studio with three new animated block types.
- Automatic sign-in through an encrypted local vault.
Fixes
- Macro record and stop reliability.
OmniControl 2.0.6 turns a lot of half-built plumbing into finished features. Every emulation output is now real and usable: two virtual pads through ViGEmBus, a keyboard target, a keyboard-and-mouse target, and three Dolphin routes for Wii and GameCube input.
The macro recorder was rebuilt to capture more than button presses. It now records stick and trigger movement and mouse motion with per-tick timing, and it flips emulation on automatically so controller playback just works. Around that, a broad interface pass landed: a Controllers status hub, stick-curve presets, a live trigger histogram, an Overlay Studio masonry layout, an adaptive-trigger rework in Haptics, and a merged Lightbar studio with three new animated block types.
