Up and running in three steps

Run the installer
It sets up OmniControl and the ViGEmBus driver it uses to create a virtual controller. Nothing else to hunt down.

Plug in your controller
OmniControl detects your pad over USB or Bluetooth and shows it as a live 3D model.

Pick an output and play
Choose a virtual Xbox 360 or DualShock 4, load a profile, and your game sees a controller it already trusts.
