Why this appears
OmniControl is made by a small independent developer, so on first run Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen listing an unknown publisher. That is expected for new indie software and does not mean anything is wrong. The app is downloaded over HTTPS and updates itself in-app after that.
