How to reach the OmniControl team - email for support and enquiries, Discord for faster community help - plus what to include in a support email.
Getting in touch
There are two ways to reach us. Pick whichever suits what you need.
support@omnicontrol.me is the right place for support requests, bug reports, license and Pro key questions, and general enquiries. We read every message. Replies are handled by a small team, so please allow a little time during busy periods.
Discord
For faster help, join the community at discord.gg/omnicontrol. It is usually the quickest way to get answers - other players and the team are active there, and someone has often already worked through the same setup or game you are asking about. It is also where release notes and early news tend to land first.
Sending a good support email
A little detail up front saves a round of back-and-forth and gets you a real answer sooner. When you email support, please include:
- OmniControl version - shown in the app, or check the changelog if you are unsure which build you are on.
- Windows version - Windows 10 or 11, and the build if you have it.
- Your controller - the make and model, and whether it is wired or wireless.
- What happened - what you were trying to do, what you expected, and what actually occurred. If there was an on-screen error, quote it.
Screenshots or a short clip help a lot for anything visual, like the overlay or a mapping that is not behaving. If the issue only shows up in a particular game, tell us which one and which profile you were using.
A couple of things worth knowing
- Pro is a one-time license key. If you have a question about a purchase, a lost key, or moving to a new PC, email support and we will sort it out.
- We are not affiliated with Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo. Controller and console names are used only to describe compatibility.
- Scope. OmniControl is built for single-player and controller-friendly games. It is not a tool for defeating anti-cheat, and kernel-level anti-cheat competitive shooters are out of scope, so we cannot help with those.
If you are looking to solve something yourself first, the docs cover setup, remapping, emulation, and per-game profiles in depth. For anything they do not answer, email or Discord will get you to a person.
