Keyboard & Mouse: play controller-only games with mouse and keyboard
The flagship feature. Drive a virtual pad from your keyboard and mouse on games that only accept a controller, with a turn calibration that makes the mouse feel like a mouse instead of a stick.
Highlights
- Keyboard & Mouse input: WASD to the left stick, mouse to aim, every key mappable to a button, trigger, or macro.
- A turn calibration that locks your in-game turn rate so aim tracks the mouse instead of drifting.
- Play Mode for switching cleanly between configuring a mapping and playing with it live.
- Per-game keyboard-and-mouse setups, applied automatically.
OmniControl 2.1.0 adds the feature the whole app was building toward: keyboard and mouse as an input. On games that only accept a controller, OmniControl now builds a virtual pad and drives it from your keyboard and mouse. WASD moves the left stick, the mouse drives aim, and every key maps to a button, trigger, or macro.
The hard part of any keyboard-to-pad tool is aim, because a mouse and a stick describe motion differently. A short calibration measures your game's turn rate and locks it, so the aim stick tracks the mouse instead of sailing past where you pointed. Play Mode lets you flip between building a mapping and playing with it, and every setup is saved per game.
Where this belongs
Keyboard & Mouse is built for single-player and controller-friendly games. It is not a tool for defeating anti-cheat, and kernel-anti-cheat competitive shooters are out of scope by design.
