Timing-free turn calibration and a calmer Keyboard & Mouse page
The turn-rate wizard is gone. Line up a landmark, turn one full circle, tap F8. The overlay now mirrors the keyboard-and-mouse pad for Xbox, and the Keyboard & Mouse page was rebuilt around an in-app guide.
Highlights
- Turn-match calibration replaces the old spin-and-tap wizard - no stopwatch, just line up a landmark and turn one full circle.
- F8 starts and stops the measurement from any window.
- Keyboard & Mouse is selectable as an emulation input.
- The on-screen overlay now mirrors the keyboard-and-mouse pad for Xbox targets, not only DualShock 4.
- Keyboard-and-mouse configuration now saves per game.
- Rebuilt Keyboard & Mouse page with an in-app How to set up guide.
Fixes
- Keyboard & Mouse reads its live target instead of the arming-gate placeholder.
Known issues
- An intermittent virtual-pad disconnect during long sessions is under investigation.
OmniControl 2.1.1 is a focused follow-up to the Keyboard & Mouse release. The headline change is calibration. The old turn-rate wizard is gone, replaced by a timing-free turn-match: line up a landmark, turn one full circle in-game, and press F8 to start and stop. No stopwatch, no guessing at numbers.
The on-screen overlay now mirrors the keyboard-and-mouse pad for Xbox targets, so you can see exactly what the game sees while you dial a mapping in. The Keyboard & Mouse page itself was rebuilt around an in-app setup guide, and the whole keyboard-and-mouse configuration now saves per game and loads when that game takes focus.
