v2.5.10

A better first hide

After hiding your controller, the page asked you to connect a controller. Yours was already connected, and hidden, which is exactly what you had just asked for.

Fixes

  • After hiding a controller, the page no longer asks you to connect one. It explains that the controller needs replugging to finish, and keeps the switch to turn hiding back off.

Hiding a controller briefly disconnects it so the change takes effect, and on some machines it does not come back until you unplug and replug it. For that moment there is no controller for the app to talk about, and the page fell back to "Connect a controller to hide" while the controller sat in your hand, hidden, working exactly as asked.

It also took the off switch away with it, which is the worse half. Now that state says what actually happened, tells you to replug to finish, and keeps a way to turn hiding back off that does not need a controller to be visible.

Found on the first real test of Xbox hiding, where the hiding itself worked.
