Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS5 Remote Play)
Pitch and roll are on WASD because that is where the pad puts the flight stick: push W for nose down, pull S for nose up, A and D roll. The throttle moves to Shift and Ctrl so the stick can keep WASD, the rudder keeps the PC yaw keys Q and E on L1 and R1, left click is the machine gun, right click or Space fires the missile or special weapon, and the wheel changes weapon the way it does on PC. Mouse movement is deliberately off here, because this game's right stick is a free look camera that swings around the aircraft rather than anything that points the nose, so M sends the touchpad for the radar map instead.

Setting this up for PS5 Remote Play
This preset drives a virtual DualShock 4 from your keyboard and mouse, so Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown reads an ordinary controller. Buttons, sticks and triggers are proven end to end through chiaki-ng on a real PS5. The touchpad binds are here because the output IS a DualShock 4, but a touchpad press arriving over Remote Play has not been measured yet, so treat those binds as untested.
Install a Remote Play client on this PC and pair it with your PS5. These presets are built and tested against chiaki-ng.
In the Remote Play client, turn OFF its own keyboard and controller mapping, and unplug or hide any controller you are not using. The client merges every input it can see with this one, so anything left connected fights your binds.
In OmniControl, set the Emulation output to DualShock 4 and start it.
Import this pack, then turn on Drive a Controller.
Start the Remote Play client and connect. It picks up the virtual DualShock 4 the same way it would a real pad plugged into this PC.
Launch Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown on the console and play.
Mouse aim is deliberately off for this one: it plays better on the sticks, so the mouse is left alone rather than fighting the camera.
If the character drifts or walks by itself, a real controller is still connected and the client is merging it with this one. OmniControl's Hide my controller fixes that, or unplug it.
Remote Play streams video, so there is always some delay between your hand and the screen. A wired connection to the console does more for that than any setting here.
What this pack changes
- Lightbar - custom colour
- Emulation - virtual controller target
Have the app installed? Use Open in OmniControl below - it jumps straight to the import preview. Otherwise:
- Open OmniControl and go to Profiles (or Game Packs).
- Click Import, then paste the code above into the share-code box.
- Preview what it changes, then create a profile from it.
Importing only ever creates a NEW profile - your existing profiles are never touched.
