The Crew Motorfest (PS5 Remote Play)

A car-tuned 115 ms steering ramp with the arrow keys wired to left-stick up and down so planes and boats still have a pitch axis, and the map on the touchpad click because the open world needs it constantly.

Setting this up for PS5 Remote Play

This preset drives a virtual DualShock 4 from your keyboard and mouse, so The Crew Motorfest sees an ordinary controller. The console never knows the difference, which is why the touchpad and the PS button work.

1

Install a Remote Play client on this PC and pair it with your PS5. These presets are built and tested against chiaki-ng.

2

In the Remote Play client, turn OFF its own keyboard and controller mapping, and unplug or hide any controller you are not using. The client merges every input it can see with this one, so anything left connected fights your binds.

3

In OmniControl, set the Emulation output to DualShock 4 and start it.

4

Import this pack, then turn on Drive a Controller.

5

Start the Remote Play client and connect. It picks up the virtual DualShock 4 the same way it would a real pad plugged into this PC.

6

Launch The Crew Motorfest on the console and play.

Aim is tuned to 58 cm per 360. If that feels fast or slow for your mouse, change it on the Drive a Controller page - everything else in the preset stays as it is.

If the character drifts or walks by itself, a real controller is still connected and the client is merging it with this one. OmniControl's Hide my controller fixes that, or unplug it.

Remote Play streams video, so there is always some delay between your hand and the screen. A wired connection to the console does more for that than any setting here.

Import it

Have the app installed? Use Open in OmniControl below - it jumps straight to the import preview. Otherwise:

  1. Open OmniControl and go to Profiles (or Game Packs).
  2. Click Import, then paste the code above into the share-code box.
  3. Preview what it changes, then create a profile from it.

Importing only ever creates a NEW profile - your existing profiles are never touched.
