A redesigned OmniControl

OmniControl 3.0 looks, moves and reads differently from end to end. Your controller and your keyboard and mouse lead every page, settings open and close smoothly instead of jumping, and a shorter sidebar puts related pages together. Mouse Mute, Crosshair Studio and Game Packs have moved into the pages they belong with.

v3.0.0 ·

Highlights

  • A redesigned app: the device leads every page, your real values stand out, and every panel opens, closes and switches with the same quick, quiet motion.
  • Drive a Controller now shows your keyboard and mouse next to the controller your game sees, and its Play Mode card gets straight to the point.
  • A shorter sidebar: pages that need a controller fold away until one is connected, and Mouse Mute, Crosshair Studio and Game Packs are now tabs of the pages they belong with.
  • Tuning you can see: curves bend to a preset as you pick it, and sliders show their real value at a glance.
  • Hotkeys shows the keys you have bound first, Profiles, Macros and Game Center open on something real, and Remote Play puts Xbox right beside your PlayStation.

A redesigned OmniControl

OmniControl 3.0 is a new look for the whole app. Your controller, or your keyboard and mouse, is the first thing on the pages where it matters, and the values you have set are what stand out, not the labels around them. Everything that opens, closes or switches now does it the same quick, quiet way, and nothing animates while you are in a game.

Where things moved

  • Mouse Mute is now a tab of Block Keys & Clicks, under Play.
  • Crosshair Studio is now the Crosshair tab of Overlay Studio, under Effects.
  • Game Packs is now a tab of Game Center, under Library.
  • Drive a Controller is first under Play.
  • Pages that only work with a controller (Triggers, Motion, Calibration, Haptics and Lightbar) fold out of the sidebar while no controller is connected, and come back the moment you plug one in.

Old links still work and open the right tab.

Throughout the app

  • Drive a Controller shows your keyboard and mouse beside the controller your game sees. Play Mode leads with what it does; how it works and its trade-off are one click away.
  • Sliders have a dark rail and fill with colour up to their value.
  • Curves on Sticks, Triggers and Haptics bend to a preset as you choose it.
  • Hotkeys lists the keys you have bound first, with the rest folded below.
  • Profiles, Macros and Game Center open on a real profile, macro or game instead of an empty panel, and Game Center keeps your library beside the game you picked.
  • Remote Play puts Xbox in a row right beside your PlayStation, and the stream area stays small until you connect.
  • Lightbar marks which preset is running, and no longer shows a blank name for it.
  • Settings folds the privacy details into one card that still says the important part: your input stays on your PC.
